Ujjain : SP MS Verma chaired a meeting with owners and managers of hotels, lodges and dharamshalas of the city in view of upcoming Simhastha Fair-2016, here on Sunday. Police administration sought cooperation and best services from hotel owners.
The meeting was held at Awantika hall of police control room. SP Verma addressing to the owners and managers of hotels, lodges and dharamshalas said that Simhastha Fair-2016 will be organized with cooperation of police, district administration and common people. ASPs Rural Pankaj Shrivastava, Manoj Kedia, senior scientist Arvind Nayak, reserved inspector Kiran Sharma, DSB officers and around 250 hotel owners and managers were present.

Keep hotels and surroundings clean
Manage sufficient parking space to avoid traffic jam
Install CCTV cameras at definite places in the hotels
Maintain record of visitors by asking them for photo IDs
Upload information on police software to furnish details of visitors to concerned police stations and police control room
Have a scanner to keep record of documents in softcopy
at the hotel
Ensure Xerox machine, telephone and internet facility at hotel
Get the register of security guard of the hotel verified from police
Maintain record of registration and license of vehicle and driver by which visitor checks in at the hotel
Ensure checking of vehicles at parking lots of hotel
Inform immediately to police control room and concerned police station on finding attitude of a visitor suspicious
Get sign of visitors on checking register when they checkout the hotel
Ensure fire extinguisher and first aid box at the hotel
Hotel asked not to get involved in suspicious activities like drugs, sex racket and other illegal business
Hotel manager to be responsible for kind of activities spotted at the hotel
On finding a visitor hurt or injured, inform concerned police station
Upload all information of visitors on police website
Mention the purpose of the visit in the register
Install HHMD and DFMD at all hotel, lodges and dharamshalas
Paste a list of important phone calls at each room
Furnish all information related to Simhastha to visitors at hotels and lodges
Provide information of tenants, paying guest, servants, drivers and others on police website
