Ujjain : Police administration constituted a Special Investigation Committee (SIT) to probe into robbery cases took place recently in the city. IG V Madhukumar announced a reward of Rs 30, 000 for giving leaks about the robbers.
ASPs Manoj Kedia, Manish Khatri, Amrendra Singh will lead the SIT. The team will put constant efforts to arrest the robbers. CSP Jiwajiganj Shankuntala Ruhal, Vijay Dabar, Neelganga police station in-charge OP Ahir, Barnagar in-charge Gopal Parmar, Bhairavgarh in-charge RK Nen, Makdon in-charge Brajesh Shrivastava, DSP VS Dwiwedi and others are included in the team. IG chaired a crime review meeting at police control room on Friday. DIG Rakesh Gupta and SP MS Verma were present. He directed police officials to crack the robbery cases and to control over such crimes. Checking should be conducted at hotels, lodge, banks and check posts.
