Ujjain : District administration is gradually gearing up to assemble all possible measures to make hosting of Simhastha Fair feasible. The exclusive map of Simhastha periphery will be connected to GPS. Maps of Panch Kroshi halting stations will be provided to all departments to prepare the action plan.
Divisional Commissioner Dr Ravindra Pastor will chair a meeting of sub-committees of Panch Kroshi, Culture, literary and halting station land allotment, here on Tuesday. Pastor directed Fair officer Avinash Lavania to provide maps of halting stations to all concerned departments so that they can prepare work-plan for the area of the halting station. Duty chart of employees of different departments deployed for Simhastha was reviewed. Officials were asked to prepare a programme to train these employees. Additional notification will be released for additional land of satellite towns.
Pastor also directed the Ujjain Municipal Corporation, Revenue and Police department to remove encroachment prevailed at Simhastha Fair area. Directives were issued to make arrangements of drinking water, toilet and shade at halting stations of the fair. Pastor also directed for preparing design of silver coins for royal bath and dhwaja Pujan. A calendar will be prepared for cultural programmes. Collector Kavindra Kiyawat and SP MS Verma were present during the meeting.
