Ujjain : A massive procession will be taken out on June 22 to commemorate the 450th martyrdom day of Rani Durgavati and birth centenary celebrations of Nagaland’s queen Gaidinlu.

Informing it at a press conference on Wednesday at Press Club, host Vanwasi Kalyan Parishad president Santosh Agrawal and secretary Ajay Kevaliya said that the procession, which is named as Shaurya Yatra, will commence at 5 pm from Ksheer Sagar Garden and after traversing through Kanthal Square, Satigate, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazaar and Gudri will culminate in a public meeting at Saraswati Shishu Mandir Mahakalpuram.

Parishad’s national leaders including Girish Kuber and Tulsiram Varkade will be key speakers. School Education Minister Paras Jain will be chief guest of the programme. Tableau of freedom fighters of Tribal communities and an artist adorned as Rani Durgavati will be salient features of the procession. According to them, the event has been organised for the reunion of all tribal residents of the district. Prakash Chittoda, Dr SK Jain were also present during the press conference.
