Shani temple soon to be a tourist attraction: Yadav

Ujjain : World famous Nav Griha Shani temple located on the banks of Kshipra at Triveni Ghat will soon to be developed as a tourist spot. The pilgrimage will attract tourists from local and outside places. State government will be asked to release a special package for beautification of the pilgrimage.

These views were expressed by MLA Mohan Yadav during cleansing drive being underway at Triveni Ghat on Tuesday. Yadav informed that office bearers and members of different organizations of the city have been extending their services in the drive. Everyday people from the city gathered at Triveni GHat to take part in the cleansing drive.

The drive began at 8 am on Monday in which rural people also participated to unearth the heavy layer of silt prevailed at the ghat. Usually tourists visit Mahakaleshwar Temple, Harsiddhi, Ramghat, Mangalnath and other venues in the city and do not pay visit to the ancient temple of Lord Shani at the banks of Kshipra due to the deserted condition of the premises.
