Ujjain : The proposals for the works to be done in the final phase of Simhastha Fair should be sent immediately to Bhopal for the approval. All the proposals would be approved quickly.
This was told by Additional Chief Secretary BP Singh during a Simhastha review meeting at Simhastha Fair office. There should have a clear yes or no on the proposal at this hour. It was told at the meeting that 10 pontoon bridges would be built over Kshipra during Simhastha. A team of Indian Army would report in the city on March 15 to build the bridge. For the passage of vehicles during the casualty, a green corridor of 70 km length would be formed. Ambulances and other vehicles would pass through the corridor during casualty.
Proposals for hiring vehicles should be forwarded immediately. A proposal for installing 16 air-conditions at police control room should be sent. Departments which have unearthed the soil at different spots should remove the debris. Additional 300 hectare land is being acquired for extension of the fair area. 540 meter long parapets have been built over Kshipra Ghats. Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor, IG V Madhukumar, DIG Rakesh Gupta, Collector Kavindra Kiyawat, Fair officer Avinash Lavania and others were present.
