The contractual and daily wages employees of forest department have welcomed the decision of Supreme Court to scrap reservation in promotion of government employees and reiterated their demands during a meet

ing held at Indira Nikunj nursery on Sunday.

The employees, under the banner, of MP Van Karmchari Samyukta Sangharsh Morcha decided to start their movement from June in support of their demands.

State president Ashok Pandey said that they have handed over a memorandum to the Forest Minister inApril. They had raised 12 demands including regularisation of contractual workers and security for employees. However, no action has been taken against their demands and thus the morcha will have to intensify its protest. Radhey Shyam Shrivastava, Ramyash Maurya, SBS Parihar and others also addressed the meeting.

Meanwhile a meeting of Van Karmchari Sangh was also held at Kolar Tiraha in support of their eight- point charter of demands.
