Ujjain : Lady members of Sangini Group will leave for Jammu and Kashmir to tie Raksha-Surta on the wrist of soldiers who are shielding us from foreign invasion. Members will be led by Mamta Sangte and they will reach at Jammu and Kashmir on August 6. President of Sangini Group Sangte informed that the Group has been tying Raksha-Sutra to soldiers at Wagha Boarders for last three years. Members have decided that they will tie Raksha-Sutra to soldiers of Kathwa and Akhnoor areas of Jammu and Kashmir this year. Dr Satindar Kaur Saluja, Ansuiya Pandey, Deepa Pandey, Astha Pandey, Sasha Jain, Manisha Surana, manager of LIC branch 1 Dilip Pandey presented Raksha-Sutras.
Prisoners to meet sisters on Rakshabandhan
Prisoners of Bhairavgarh Central Jail, Sanjay Pandey informed that festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated in the Jail on August 10. Sisters of the prisoners will be allowed to tie Raksha-Sutra on the wrist of their brothers amidst special security arrangement between 8 am to 1 pm. The time for the meeting is only 15 minutes. More than three sisters of a prisoner will not be allowed. Children below the age of two years will be allowed to accompany with women. Names of sisters have been received from the prisoners. Everyone has to present their photo ID proof before meeting with their prisoner brother. Sisters will only be allowed to carry Raksha-Sutra, coconut, two pieces of sweets and a seasonal fruit.
