Residents living in blackout for 15 days; hand memo to SDM

Ujjain : Residents of Najarpur village irked over the lackadaisical approach of DISCOM after they were compelled to live amidst blackout for 15 days during the heavy rainfall. Agitated residents handed a memorandum to SDM of Ghattia constituency, on Friday. Administration has issued high alert for the heavy rainfall. DISCOM has taken the arbitrary approach. Even supervisors and linemen do not consider the plight of residents. Residents got irked over the careless approach of DISCOM and gheraoed its office and handed over a memorandum. They have been living a dreadful life in absence of power.
