t of Holiday express at Barnagar railway station was spread around the district.

News was spread around here on Saturday morning that two coaches of Holiday Express got alighted from the track due to which 5 passengers sustained injuries while two of them were serious. Barnagar SDM GS Dabar also reached the spot after receiving information about the train accident. Meanwhile, emergency railway siren was blown and two ambulance of Barnagar civil hospital also rushed to the spot for carrying injured passengers.

During the mock- drill, dramatically, a rehearsal was done regarding rushing injured ones to hospital.

PRO Western Railway Pradip Sharma said that Railway Administration issued directives for organising a mock- drill at the station near Ujjain. As per the directives, a mock- drill was performed at Barnagar railway station on Saturday.

RPF jawans along with incharge Mukesh Anandkar also departed for spot while carrying stretcher and other relief ingredients.

Notably, once or twos in a year, the mock- drill is practiced for scrutinizing arrangements and availability of rescue measures after blowing emergency siren by Railway Administration.

Those employees or officials found inactive during mock- drill are issued show cause notice.
