Ujjain: A property fraud case worth Rs 22 lakh was handed over to SC/ ST police station by the Neelganga police. Ghanshyam Patidar, Sarpanch Kashiram and his nephew Tolaram, all residents of Raghopipliya village showed six bigha land to Madan Rathore, partner Rajendra Bhusari of Nanda Nagar Indore in village Dendia.

They negotiated the land price at Rs 28 lakh per bigha and finalised the deal for Rs 1.7 crore. The buyer gave them Rs 22 lakh in advance on June 19 in the presence of the property broker. Later the buyers came to know about that they were shown the land of Ujjain Development Authority by the sellers. Sellers assured buyers that they would provide them no objection certificate from UDA, but they did not do so. Later, the buyers lodged a complaint of fraud against the three accused at Neelganga police station from where the case was handed over to the SC/ ST police.
