Ujjain : School principals have come forward to support Clean School Healthy School campaign launched by district administration from Sunday. Principals with their staff and students will initiate the campaign on Sundays till June 2016.
Collector Kavindra Kiyawat addressed the principals of National Secondary Education Mission at Polytechnic College and asked them to voluntarily raise their hands to support Clean School Healthy School campaign. To his surprise, only 25 out of 100 principals raised their hands. Kiyawat discussed the planning of the campaign with the 25principals. He asked all the principals to decide the targets as per their will and to choose a site. School principal will choose the local areas near the school and will practice Shramdan there for one hour. The objective of the campaign is to create awareness for cleanliness in society. The campaign will be inaugurated symbolically at city schools on Sunday.
