Ujjain :The new executive council of Society for Press Club witnessed mixed faces from both Patrakar and Media Samanvay Panel after the polling results got out, here on Sunday evening. Four office bearers of Media Samanvay Panel and two from Patrakar Panel were elected. Amidst 15 executive members 12 from Patrakar Panel and three were elected from Media Samanvay Panel.
The biennial elections of 21-members executive council of Society for Press Club were held peacefully on Sunday. 247 out 254 member casted votes at the elections held between 11 and 5 pm. Vishal Singh Had a of Patrakar Panel was elected president while Pradip Malviya of the same panel was elected Vice-president. Lalit Jwel, Sunil Magaria, Uday Singh Chandel and Anand Nigam of Media Samanvay Panel were elected secretary, treasurer, Vice-president and Joint secretary.
Ravi Sen, Deepak Belani, Ganpat Singh Chouhan, ManojTilak, Chandan Gupta, Devendra Purohit, Jitendra Singh Thakur, NileshKhoyre, PtAlok Sharma, Rajesh Joshi, Dharmendra Bhati, Rahul Sharma, Sachin Sinha, Ajay Patwa and ShaileshVyas were elected members of the executive council.
Elections were held peacefully under the guidance of chief election officer Pranav Garg and his dedicated team. Victory procession was taken out by winning members.
