Ujjain : The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has once again failed to deliver the quality services, it promised once. The network has become bane for the consumers not only in terms of phone connectivity, but also in customer care.
Thanks to frequent breakdown and “network congestion” of communication traffic, mobile phone and Internet service subscribers are facing a tough time in city. Call drop, buzzing voice, failed call and network congestion are the frequent problems being faced by the BSNL subscribers of the area. In recent times, the mobile network has been acting like as though infested with bugs and users are complaining of increasing instances of cross-talk, call drops. Whenever a number is dialled from a BSNL mobile, either it sounds out of reach or connects with disturbances and if connects you have to make sure it’s the same person you have dialed, because calls transfer to unknown numbers because of congestion. Now, the subscribers of BSNL are left with no other option but to get a standby connection of some other operator due to the prolonged disruptions of mobile, landline and broadband connectivity.
BSNL has the largest network in the state, and with its increasing Tele-density in the area the system has failed to deliver. While the operators claim to have in place robust networks and scaled up capacity to match the expansion of subscriber base, consumer say that the user experience is often under par in the area that are among the hot spots of the cellular communication. Administrative officials and government offices and staff including police are also facing harrowing time as all of them are allotted BSNL numbers officially and to complete their works they have to use personal numbers of private network operators. When contacted, BSNL officials kept the issue down by saying we are working on it, technical snag occurs and will be repaired.
