Police control room inaugurated

Ujjain : The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated a 4-storey ultra modern new police control room building here on Wednesday.

 He also dedicated works worth Rs 41.68 crore for police. He also inspected police control room building. Monitoring of Simhastha-2016 Mela area will be made from the new control room building. The building has chambers of police officers on the ground floor along with Simhastha Mela Wing, IT and Women’s Cell. Meeting and video-conferencing hall is on the first floor, CC TVs, wireless equipments and Dial-100 Scheme arrangements on the second floor.

 Over 500 CC TV cameras are being installed in Mela area, which will be monitored from this building. The fourth floor has rooms for officers of police, forensic & finger print department and bomb disposal squad team’s officers. This is second hi tech control room in state after Bhopal. In-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh, Simhastha Central Committee’s Chairman Makhan Singh, MP Dr. Chintamani Malviya, MLAs Dr. Mohan Yadav and Anil Firojiya and administrative and police officers were present on the occasion.
