alt145 Uncle Ki Kripaalt39

He is a permanent source of succour and solace for those ministers and top bureaucrats of the State, who, for some reason or the other, are unhappy or depressed. No, our alt39 Agony Unclealt39 is not a po

litician or a Baba. He is a high- profile Builder. With the Uncle abroad, a Minister caught in a web of scams was feeling orphaned. Only the Uncle, he was sure, could save him.

The problem was that some details of his underhand dealings had leaked out and the Minister was apprehensive that he may lose his ministerial berth. No wonder, as soon as the Uncle landed in Bhopal, the Minister- who happens to be his old admirer- rushed to meet him. Everyone knows that the Uncles blessings mean blessings of both the government and the organisation. Interestingly, another piece of news about the Minister doing the rounds in the corridors of power may make him the ND Tiwari of Madhya Pradesh.

Irrestible steno An IAS officer posted out of the Capital makes as many official trips to Bhopal as possible. And it is not the attraction of his family that draws him to Bhopal.

Actually, he is enamoured of a lady employee of the Mantralaya.

During the officers postings in Bhopal, the lady was his steno and he misses her charm at his new place of posting.

The news has reached the officers family, leading to trouble for him. The officer is a firm believer in the philosophy of eat, drink and be merry and during his earlier stints as Collector too he was known for his soft corner for the weaker sex. During his posting in a tribal district, his flirtations with a woman officer were the talk of the town.

Evidence- seeker It is normal to expect a pat on the back from ones superior for good work done by one. But the officers of a department mandated with the task of publicising the governments achievements had to face the ire of the top boss of states administrative set- up when they approached him with data showing that agricultural production in the State had increased considerably.

Instead of appreciating their work the CS asked them as to how would they prove the authenticity of the figures.

Thanks to such episodes, the officers of the department are maintaining a safe distance from the new CS. They are avoiding meeting him even with official figures. In any case, with the re- shuffle in the Mantralaya, the department now has a plethora of bosses and all the officers are reporting to different bosses. This might have strengthened the hands of the officers but it has definitely weakened the department.

He will also take an examination at the end of the alt39 Abhyas vargaalt39. The Minister feels that important assignments were always denied to him despite the fact that he is considered much more efficient and capable than many of the Cabinet Ministers. He hopes that with the Sanghs intervention, he may get his due.

Another reason for his sudden love for the RSS is that a senior BJP leader is rather cut up with him owing to caste equations. The MoS hopes that with the alt39 Sanghalt39 on his side, the leader would not be able to do any harm to him.

Proud father The heads of the government and the ruling party of the state are both very conscious about the careers of their sons. It is learnt that the son of one of them has already got a Rs 7.5- lakh package job and may soon shift to another job that would fetch him Rs 12 lakh a year. The leader is happy with his sons success. The second leader is planning to send his son abroad for higher education.

Credible sources tell us that the duo have no intention of pushing their sons into the hurly burly of politics. That was probably why the wife of one of them stayed with her son all thr
