Ujjain : Swarnim Bharat Manch launched a Signature Drive demanding closure of mutton and liquor shops located around Mahakaleshwar Temple, here on Friday. Manch invoked citizens to put their signature. More than 7000 citizens put their signature in support of the drive. Drive will be continued on Saturday.
Joint convener Pankaj Pandey informed that there are several abattoirs, mutton and liquor shops located around two km of area of Mahakaleshwar Temple. A Signature Drive has been launched to remove these shops. More than 7000 people have put their signature. The drive will be continued at Gebi Hanuman temple at Dhaba Road at 6.30 pm on Saturday. Women and children also supported the drive and put their signature. Devotees from outside areas also supported the drive. Mahakaleshwar priests also put signature and supported the demand of closure of shops.
Jayant Gaud, Piyush Chouhan, Pankaj Joshi, Dinesh Raj Chouhan, Jitendra Bairagim, Shrikant Javdekar, Abhay Narwaria, Naveen Rajodia and convener of Swarnim Bharat Manch Dinesh Shrivastava were present.
