Ornaments worth two lakh stolen aboard train

Ujjain : Defying the tell tales of Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) the thieves struck a family aboard the Ratlam-Bina Passenger and made way with ornaments worth Rs 2 lakhs. The incident occurred on April 26, but the victim Mahesh Yadav lodged a complaint with GRP on Saturday. Dr Yadav said his family was on their way to Jhansi aboard the train to attend a marriage function. Unknown thieves struck the bag containing the jewelry near Nagda and swiftly escaped. The incident was revealed when the family reached Jhansi. The  GRP have registered a case and are investigating.
