Ujjain: Jaipur- Nagpur Express had to halt at city railway station on Saturday morning after passengers of the train created ruckus over non availability of water in the coaches.

According to sources, Jaipur- Nagpur Express train arrived at platform number 4 of railway station at 7.50 am on Saturday. The train left Jaipur station at 3 pm on Friday. Passengers were facing water problem in most of the coaches.

When the train reached at Ujjain station, passengers created ruckus and demanded filling of water in all the coaches. Ajmer, Nagda and other station staff did not fill water in the coaches even after making complaints. Even the toilets in the coaches were not cleaned, the passengers said. All the passengers in the train got down to the platform and did not let the train leave the platform. They pulled the chain to stop the train.

Finally, the railway administration directed employees to fill water in the coaches, but they did not make the toilets clean. The train left the station at 9.15 am.
