Ujjain : Village Ajrana under the gram panchayat Kandariya on the Fatehabad road is yet to get basic infrastructure. The village that houses hundreds families has no facilities such as an RCC road and proper electricity supply. The village, which is located on the Fatehabad road becomes almost disconnected from the rest of the district during the monsoon.
A group of villagers from Ajrana on Friday spoke about their difficulties and urged the Collector to take steps to provide road connectivity and electricity to the village. Deputy sarpanch Pavan Singh Aanjana informed that the villagers have to tread around 1 km of stretch made of mud and slime, and even contains pot holes having depth of 2-3 feet.
Aanjana informed that the elderly, sick persons, women and children are facing problems to reach health and school centers. The gram panchayat has repeatedly been trying to attract the attention of administrative officials towards the problem, but all their efforts have been in vain. The villagers have immediate attention of collector over the issue.
