Ujjain : Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor during the review of Simhastha development works at the meeting directed officials not to compromise with the quality of work. Whatever resources are needed to them would be provided by the government.
Dr Pastor directed water resource department to clean up the ghats and river bed of Kshipra at any cost. The prestige of the government is associated to the Simhastha works. Hence there should not have any negligence in the work. Directives were given to remove bags from ghats, cleaning of ghats and river beds. Ujjain Municipal Corporation was directed to clean the banks of river and MPEB was asked to remove the plastic sheets and rags tangled in the power cables. All the departments should make a list of the roads built by them and they should work for installation of signage and decoration. The concerned departments should also take up the work of maintenance. Directives were given to the departments to release the press information about the works regularly so that public could know about the Simhastha works.
