MAOR SEEMS ADAMANT
T hroughout the meeting, Mayor Rameshwar Akhand seemed to be complaining about the non- cooperation by administrative officials. It is quite clear that the city is struggling with the dire consequences of Mayor’s approach of development. Akhand wants to initiate various projects simultaneously and does not think about their results. Even, it was heard that senior BJP leaders are quite dumb over his adamant attitude.
STATE GOVT NOT SERIOUS! O•
the other hand, it has been noticed that the quite serious matter of Simhastha Fair – 2016 is being taken lightly by the state government. Due to pressure of forthcoming assembly election, ministers and administrative officials are only shifting proposals of Simhastha and there seem no concrete results. Several meetings have been organised yet for discussing vital issues related to Simhastha, but none of concrete execution has been seen in this regard. Master Plan, which was to be finalized by February 2012, is also yet not finalised.
