The city celebrated the 63rd Republic Day with spirit and gaiety. National flag was hoisted at various places including Headquarters of political parties, government offices and educational institutes on t

his occasion.

Vidhan Sabha: Vidhan Sabha principal secretary Rajkumar Pandey unfurled the national flag at Vidhan Sabha secretariat. He took salute of the parade. Secretary Bhagwandev Israni, Umashankar Raghuvanshi and others were present.

DRM: DRM Ghanshyam Singh hoisted national flag at DRM office. Railway manager Sunil Kumar Gupta, senior officer ( commerce) Mandip Singh Bhatia and Public Relations officer KK Dubey were also present.

NVDA: Narmada Valley Development Authority Vice- Chairman and Additional Chief Secretary OP Rawat unfurled the national flag at the Authoritys headquarters Narmada Bhavan. A large number of Authority officers and employees and schoolchildren were present on the occasion. A police contingent gave a salute to the national flag. After National Anthem, OP Rawat greeted officers and employees on the occasion of 63rd Republic Day and exhorted them to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication towards meeting the challenge of time- bound development of Narmada Valley.

CPR: Commissioner Public Relations Rakesh Shrivastava unfurled the national flag at Directorate of Public Relations. The flag- hoisting was followed by National Anthem. On the occasion, Commissioner Rakesh Shrivastava extended Republic Day greetings to all the officers and employees and distributed sweets among employeesalt39 children.

Commissioner, Collector: Divisional commissioner Pravin Garg hoisted national flag at Commissioner Officer while Collector Nikunj Shrivastava unfurled the national flag at Collectorate.

Deputy commissioner Urmila Shukla, CL Dodiyar and others officials were present on this occasion at divisional commissioner while SDM Basant Kurre and others senior officials were present at collectorate.

BMC: Mayor Krishna Gaur hoisted national flag at Sadar Manzil. and corporators were present on this occasion.

She greeted officials and corporators. She assured for implementation of welfare schemes in the interest of people. Similarly, Kolar Municipality chairperson Muni Mangal Yadav unfurled national flag. CEO Rajesh Shrivastava and other senior officers were present.

Barkatullah varsity: Barkatullah University vice chancellor Nisha Dube hoisted national flag at University premises on Republic Day. Rector DC Gupta, registrar Dr Sanjay Tiwari and staff were present on the occasion.

BSSS: Archbishop Leo Cornelio hoisted national fag at Bhopal School of Social Sciences ( BSSS) on Republic Day. College principal Fr Dr Joseph PP, vice principal Dr Sr Johnsy Mathews, and others staff were present.

Patriotic songs, speeches, poetries for great nation and dance were performed.

Archbishop Dr Cornelio and principal Fr Joseph appealed to every one to take an oath and show concern for a brighter, stronger and developed India.

BHEL: BHEL ED SS Gupta hoisted the national flag at Piplani parade ground. He thereafter accepted honours from CISF contingent and matching contingents of various schools. General Manager, EM and president BHECNIS G D Verma, Commandant, CISF Mamun Rashid were also present on this occasion.

Gupta, greeting the massive gathering, said that democracy has surely brought glory to the country and at the same time, enhanced the responsibilities of the citizens. He further said that the wheel of the nations progress wrests upon electricity wherein BHEL especially BHEL, Bhopals role in completing the nations power project within the deadline is commendable.

He enumerated various projects executed by BHEL which include the successful commissioning of 1200KV 333MVA Connecting Transformer for ” Kolkata Metro” and various other capacity augmentations and up gradation initiatives being undertaken.
