Muslims contributed significantly in nation building: Dr Rehman

Ujjain: “ Muslims have been playing a major role in nation building since independence. Not only after the independence, but even before getting the independence. We cannot forget the sacrifices of Muslims during freedom struggle”. These views were expressed by chairman of All India Darul Kaza ( MP) Dr Quazi S Rehman on the second day of 10th All India Dr Shivmangal Singh Suman memorial goodwill lecture series organised by Bharatiya Gyanpeeth here on Sunday.

Dr Rehman further said that Muslim also gave special contribution in regard with historical heritages on India comprising of Tajmehal, Mandu, Charminar, Macca Mosque and Bijapur. Even Muslim personality Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Azad became president of India. We can not forget Kalam’s contribution to India. In every field whether it is politics, sports and film and others, they shine in every aspects. For the overall development of society it is necessary that minority communities should contribute their best.

Dr Rehman urged to Muslim community for providing better education to their next generation and they should also be explained its meaning too. Presiding over the programme, social worker Shadab Ahmed Siddiqui said that Muslim rulers when ruled over India, they did development after the catastrophic condition.
