Chhaya Porwal, Ujjwal Goutam bag top ranks in Class X dist merit list Pooja Jalindar, Deepika Mahajan bag top ranks in Class XII dist merit list

Ujjain : Girls outshone boys in the classes X and XII results of MP Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) in the district. City recorded 58.32 percent result in class X while 63.09 percent in class XII. Once again girls outshone boys with 65.64 percent result in High School and 74.73 percent in Higher Secondary in the district.

The pass percentage was better in class XII exams as compared to last year’s. While in class X; it was almost the same for regular students. This year 65.88% regular students passed in class XII compared to 59.63% students in 2013. In class X, 47.74% regular students passed this year compared to 47.64% students in 2013 respectively. But in Ujjain city and division wise, it was opposite; 64.06% girls passed while 55.87% boys passed class 10. Similarly in higher secondary it was 76.66 % girls who passed and 63.89% boys passed.

Chhaya daughter of Ranchhodlal Porwal, a student of Saraswati Shishu Mandir bagged first rank in district merit list of High School by achieving 95.50 percent marks. Ujjwal Gautam daughter of Ashok Gautam, a student of Ujjain Public School bagged second rank in district merit list by achieving 95.17 percent marks in High School examination organised by MPBSE. She brought laurel for the city, school, family and Mehta Tutorials where she had taken coaching. Ujjwal gave credit of her success to her teachers, parents, her maternal uncle Ghanshyam Sharma and Ashutosh Mehta, director of Mehta Tutorials Rishi Nagar.

Pooja Jalindra, student of Government HS School Nanded bagged first rank in district merit list of Higher Secondary in Humanities by scoring 86.20 percent marks. Likewise, Deepika Mahajan of Ujjain Public School bagged first rank in Science (Maths/Bio) group by scoring 95 percent marks.

Neha daughter of Shyam Soni, a student of Shri Gyan Sagar Digambar Jain HS School bagged first rank in commerce group by scoring 90.80 percent marks. School chairman Meena Jain, Veerbala Kasliwal, principal Pushpa Ved and entire staff congratulated her on success. Virendra Sharma of Saraswati HS School, Marutiganj bagged first rank in Agriculture group by scoring 76.40 percent marks. Aishwarya Bhawsar, a student of Government Vijayaraje Girls HS School bagged first rank in fine arts group by scoring 78.80 percent.

Ishaan son of Sanjay Trivedi, a student of Ujjain Public School scored 85.6 percent in class XII MPBSE examination. Ishaan’s grandfather Vijayshankar Trivedi, his mother and school teachers congratulated him on his success.  Ishaan achieved distinction in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Hindi subject. Government High School Talod bagged cent percent result in MPBSE High School examination.

School teacher Praveen Patel informed that about 90 percent students passed in first division. Principal Sarita Chhari, Mohammad Arif, Jyoti Valuskar, Rekha Malviya, Manju Deharia, Radharani Jadhav and other greeted students on their success. Government Girls HS School Dhanmandi scored 88 percent result in High School while 81 percent in Higher Secondary examination.

Astha Bains, a student of Class XII from Government Girls HS School Dussehra Maidan bagged 84.4 percent marks in MPBSE examination. She got distinction in all subjects. Astha’s mother Sunita Singh who is a housewife and father SP Singh Bains is in police department.
