Ujjain : The Madhav Nagar police on Sunday claimed to have solved the murder case of micro financier Manish Meena. SP MS Verma in press conference here at the police control room, wife of the deceased Manish, Minakshi along with her lover Hanif had planned the entire plan to eliminate her husband Manish.
Minakshi came in illicit relations with Hanif after her marriage with Manish, after her unwilling marriage with Manish, she concocted his murder and was planning to own the property of Manish and live a happy life with Hanif. The police have arrested Hanif, Minakshi Meena, Rizwan and one Inzmam in the case. Police also confiscated the weapon used, two mobile phones and a motorcycle which was used in committing crime from the accused. SP Vema said deceased Manish Meena was killed by Hanif and his accomplice Rizwan in the lane behind Basaawda petrol pump on 18 August. IG V Madhukumar awarded the police team with Rs 30,000 prize. CSP Vijay Davar, TI MS Parmar, SI Deepika Shinde, SI Munendra Gautam, and team of 24 SI, ASI and constables were the team behind the case.
The affair
A few months ago Meenakshi came in contact with Hanif through WhatsApp group and a friendship developed, the friendship turned into love and then lust. To spend more time with Minakshi, Hanif also joined her office of an NGO Arunodaya Sarveshvari Kalyan Samiti, where she used to work as an outreach worker. Soon the relationship started blooming, but to her fate in the month of April Manish came to know about the extra marital affair of his wife.
Husband catches wife red handed
Manish caught Minakshi red handed with Hanif at Ambar Colony, after the Chimanganj Mandi police had reached the house to stop the activities after complaints by locals. Manish had also reached the spot and was ashamed to see Minakshi and Hanif. Since then the relations were strained between them. Manish started ignoring Minakshi and also used to threaten her that soon he will get Hanif eliminated, by using his approach with criminals and inmates at Bhairavgarh Jail.
Paramour kills husband
After being told by Minakshi, Hanif in a fear of losing his own life, both of them started to draw a plan to kill Manish. Minakshi arranged Rs 30,000 cash and gave her gold ear rings for the financial support in the plan. On August 18, Hanif and Minakshi remained continuously in contact with each other since morning. Hanif used the motorcycle of his friend Dilshad resident of Shikari Gali in committing crime. Hanif along with his accomplice Rizwan on motorcycle reached at the Tower square and confirmed the location of Manish from Minakshi who was coming to drop him at his office. After dropping Manish at Tower square his wife went away and as Manish entered in the narrow lane behind his office perpetrators followed him and gunned him down before fleeing from the spot.
The duo misguides police
Hanif and Minakshi played every possible trick to mislead the police from investigation. When police checked call details of Minakshi, hundreds of calls made between Hanif and Minakshi were found. In interrogation Hanif disclosed that they had planned to meet at the friends place at Madhav Nagar on the day of murder. Police also recovered the key of flat where they have planned to meet. But both of them straight away refused about their involvement in the murder. But the police who were suspicious of the wife cyber cell of police kept secret vigil on both of them and got them to confess to the crime they had committed.
