Ujjain : Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry, Government of India, Sevadham Ashram and Kalyan Karoti Lucknow jointly organized a free Disability Examination camp at Panchayati Akhada Bada Udasin Nirwan Nadi Darwaza, here on Tuesday.
Different stalls were setup at the premises of Panchayati Akhada to examine the disabled persons. Specialist doctors served the patients after the examination. The selected disabled persons will be distributed prosthesis during a camp on February 14. Mehant Maheshwardas told that the service to humanity is equal to the service to the God. Disabled persons face difficulty in practicing their routine work.
1249 disabled persons underwent the examination. 744 physically disabled, 194 deaf and dumb, 51 visually challenged and 206 were mentally retarded. 495 disabled persons who were selected at the camp will be given equipments during the camp on February 14.
