Mayor turns anxious towards city’s infrastructural development

Ujjain :  City Mayor Rameshwar Akhand appeared to be concerned towards the infrastructural development being done across the city. He made inspection of first halting station of Simhastha that is Neelganga pond and the park located at Chamunda Mata square here on Thursday. Mayor directed Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) officials for quick completion of development works.

Commissioner Municipal Corporation Vivek Kshotriya accompanied with Mayor during inspection of different sites in the city. Mayor visited the Neelganga pond which is the first halt of saints during Simhastha Fair. UMC has been carrying out beautification and development work at the pond considering the coming Simhastha Fair. Mayor then visited the park located at Chamunda Mata square and directed concerned officials for installing a grand statue of Maharana Pratap in the park. Mayor keenly observed the venue where the statue to be installed in the park.

Conducts inspection of works at Neelganga pond & parks

CMS Kshotriya during the inspection said that parks located across the city will be developed while equipping them with trees, fountains and accessories for children. Zone president Shivendra Tiwari and local corporator Durga Choudhary provided detailed information about the development works. Superintending engineer VK Soni, PL Tatwal and others were present.
