Commenting on Indore Master Plan, Mallaiya said that following the directives of the Suprem

e Court, hearings on objections to the plan have been held and the director, T& CP has also sent his recommendations. He said that the government had discussed the matter and reached a decision. He also said the Master Plan would be published soon.

Rights of farmers to be protected

Mallaiya said that until now the development authorities acquired land from farmers at cheaper price and later sold it for hefty profit after developing the land, but now the land is being acquired on mutual agreement which ensures that rights of farmers are protected adequately and added that the TDR Act would also finalised soon.
