Ujjain: A passenger lost his part of foot in a train mishap in his failed attempt of hopping a moving train on Sunday night. According to GRP officials, Chandraprakash son of Rajbhuwan Yadav was travelling to Gujarat on Sabarmati express from his native village in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. He stepped down from the train at Ujjain station to refill the supply of drinking water at night, during which train started to move, in his failed attempt in hopping into the train, he started running towards the train, which severed his one foot and fractured his one hand. Afterwards victim was immediately rushed to civil hospital by GRP, where he is recovering his health.
