Man commits suicide on failing to pay loan amount

Ujjain: A debt ridden man committed suicide by consuming poison at his home on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. Deceased has been identified as Hemant Namdeo resident of Bherunala. After consuming poison Hemant in frothing state woke up his elder brother Girish Namdeo and informed him about the incident. Girish rushed him to Civil Hospital where he died during the treatment in morning. Hemant had taken loan of lakhs of rupees from several people for overcoming his business of urea fertilizers from the constant loss. On failing to repay loan amount he took the extreme step, said brother of deceased in the statement given to Jiwajiganj police. Jiwajiganj police have taken the matter under investigation and sent the body of deceased for autopsy.
