Ujjain : Finally, the Central Simhastha Fair Organising Committee (CSFOC) chairman Makhan Singh got a bungalow. On Monday on account of Mahashivratri, he shifted at Vikram University (VU) house number D2 located (behind VC bungalow) on Dewas Road. He also performed traditional pujan and hawan under the guidance of Pt Narayan Dharmadhikari and Pt Gaurav Upadhyaya.
Makhan Singh was residing in a rented house at Shivansh at Shri Vishala Kshetra. Those present during the grih pravesh programme included Swami Ganga Bharti, Swami Asanganand, Rakesh Dagor, Babulal Jain, Diwakar Natu, Pradeep Pandey, Shripad Joshi, Jagdish Agrawal, Iqbal Singh Gandhi, Shyam Bansal, Chintamani Malviya, Mohan Yadav, Meena Jonwal, Sonu Gehlot, Prakash Chittoda, Vibash Upadhyaya, Anand Bangur, SS Pandey and Tulsiram Thapak among others.
Key meetings convened today
All the non-government functionaries of the Simhastha Fair organising committees have now thrown their full strength to ensure better arrangements. In this regard, a meeting of a special committee comprising Makhan Singh, Diwakar Natu, Collector, SP and Simhastha Fair Officer has been convened on Tuesday at 11 am at the SFA to resolve the land disputes, which are reported to be about one dozen in number. An urgent meeting of the CSFOC has also been convened at 4 pm at the same venue to take on record various issues.
