Mahant Prakash Puri hands over letter to CM
Ujjain : Maha Nirvani and Atal akhara have boycotted the Simhastha mela of which Shri Mahant Prakash Puri Maha Nirvani akhara made the official announcement and handed over the official letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during his visit to Mahakal temple here on Wednesday.
Mahant Prakash Puri was aggravated since the beginning of Simhastha affairs and his discontent amplified over the VIP treatment of Mahant Narendra Giri by the government. The Mahant handing over the letter to CM said since day his presence has been neglected and now the Maha Nirvani akhara is facing disturbance, due to which the Simhastha mela is not possible. The Mahant said the government is appeasing liars who are claiming themselves functionaries of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP).
Till date the works of leveling, construction and chhavni have not been completed, so with incomplete measures the Simhastha mela is not possible, and now the Mahanirvani and Atal akhara will take part in Ardh Kumbh of Haridwar, because of their top notch preparations. Another reason behind the boycott is the attitude of government towards the fakers, they said the elections of ABAP were forged and still the administration is working biased.
