Mahakaleshwar procession taken out with gusto

Ujjain: Second traditional procession of Kartik- Aghan months of Lord Mahakal was taken out in the city on Monday. Assistant administrative officer Dilip Garud performed pujan of Lord Mahakal at Sabha Mandap. Police guards gave guard of honour at the gate of temple.

The procession passed through Mahakal Road, Gudri Square, Bakshi Bazaar, Kaharwadi and reached at Ramghat. After worship of Chandramoleshwar presided in the silver palanquin and holy Kshipra at the banks of Kshipra, the procession moved to Ramanujkot, Kartik Chowk, Khati ka Mandir, Satyanarayan temple, Dhaba Road, Tanki Square, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazaar, Gudri and concluded at Mahakaleshwar temple. Horses, police band, home guards, special armed force and others accompanied the procession. Next procession will be taken out on November 18.
