Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will lay the foundation of Science City in Ujjain on September 30. He will perform bhoomi pujan of roads to be built in Maksi and the Dewas Road area with an investment of Rs 18 crore.
Cabinet minister Mohan Yadav and MLA Paras Jain shared information about the development works to be taken up in the city. He told media persons that Science City will come up on 5 acres. An incubation hub will also be set up in the Science City at a cost of Rs 15.20 crore.
Over 1 crore will be spent every year on the incubation hub. Dtudents of science will be able to get information related to astronomy from the centre. Yadav said that preparations are afoot to develop industrial areas located at Maksi and on the Dewas Road.
A 2.5 km long road will be built in Nagjhiri Industrial Area at a cost of Rs 8.07 crore. A 5 km long road, drains and culverts will be constructed at Maxi Road Udyogpuri at a cost of 10.80 crores.
