Liquor company agent robbed, injured

Ujjain: The Tarana police have registered a case against unknown armed assailants, who robbed the collection agents of a liquor company of recovery money near village Khamli in Tarana tehsil on late Friday. The incident took place when victims Dileep, Virendra, Deepak, Bhagwan and Kamal were returning to the company’s office to submit the money. On the way, around 10-12 armed assailants accosted them. They looted the cash after thrashing them. The assailants also looted the Bolero vehicles from them. The villagers took to one victim Dileep was badly injured in the whole incident, him nearby hospital. The police are investigating the case; exact amount of cash looted is yet to be ascertained.
