Light and particle week at VU from June 23

Ujjain : Light and Particle week, an event to create awareness about Physics in the young generation, will be organised at the Vikram University (VU) from June 23 to June 26. The event has been jointly organised by the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) and VU. Special exhibition on science related to Light and Particle will be on display for the week. Dean, Students Welfare, Dr Rakesh Dhand informed that essay writing, quiz and drawing competition will also be organised during the week. Vice-Chancellor Prof SS Pandey will inaugurate the event. Scientist from RRCAT including Purushottam Shrivastava and Apollo Kasliwal will address the students on the occasion. The exhibition will be organised at the Swarn Jayanti meeting hall of VU. Exhibition will remain open from 11 am to 5 pm. For further information, the students can contact varsity officials.
