Kshatriya Mahasabha is all set to fight against caste based reservations

Ujjain : Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha will carry out rally against cast based reservation system and submit memorandum addressed to President of India at Shaheed Park on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

Kshatriya Mahasabha will demand to provide reservation based on economic condition of the person irrespective of his caste. Rally will start from Samajik Nyay Parisar and culminate at Shaheed Park, functionaries of Mahasabha will also address general meeting at Shaheed Park. While addressing to pressmen, here on Monday, national general secretary of Kshatriya Mahasabha, Narendra Singh Rajawat said, “Youth wing of Mahasabha conducted signature drive from September 6 to September 25 and gathered support for the campaign from district to panchayat level.” In spite after 50 years, caste based reservation failed to provide desired results it should be abolished and reservations should be provided according to economic condition of the person, he added further.

When asked about how Mahasabha will achieve their target as reserved castes are not ready to give up reservations, Dr Rajawat said, “We want to spread awareness among public on this issue, so that they will elect such representatives who keep this issue in Parliament and clear the way of Anti Reservation Bill.” National vice-president of Mahasabha Bhairav Singh Chauhan, Angad Singh Bhadoria, Arjun Singh and others were present in the conference.

However, friction among the functionaries of Kshatriya Mahasabha were also visible clearly as another group of Mahasabha conducted separate press conference on the same issue under the leadership of Anil Singh Chandel. On Wednesday group will hold demonstration in front of Madhav College and then will submit memorandum to Commissioner addressed to President of India.       Representatives of various castes and communities have also extended their support in favour of the cause.
