Ujjain: Police raided Kanjar and Pardi encampments across various city limits in search of any clue and arrests following the armed robbery which was committed at Ghonsla under Raghavi police station here on Monday.  In this incident Dinesh Banjara family was looted of Rs 5 lakh and other valuables. On Tuesday morning, SP Anurag Kumar reached the spot for investigation and also talked to the victim family. Previously police had created road blockade and increased checking, but dacoits were able to flee. On orders of senior officials police on Tuesday raided Kanjar and Pardi encampments of Makdon, Mahidpur, Tarana and other areas in search of suspects and any further piece of information. Sources said, some suspects have also been taken into custody.

Meanwhile, SP has formed a special team under the guidance of ASP (rural) Pankaj Shrivastava to trace the incident. SDOPs PS Ranavat (Mahidpur) and Rajendra Sharma (Tarana), inspectors DS Bilawal (Raghavi), LN Malviya (Makdon), sub-inspector SK Chauhan (Raghavi), NBS Parihar and Manish Dubey (Mahidpur), assistant sub-inspector MS Nagar (Raghavi), Ramcharit Dubey (Makdon) and Radheshyam Sharma (Ghattiya) and five other low rung policemen have been included in the team.
