Ujjain: As the department of culture, Government of Madhya Pradesh has deferred the premier cultural festival of the State, Akhil Bharatiya Kalidas Samaroh that was to be organised at Kalidas Sanskrit Academy on Wednesday. Kalidas Sanskrit Academy will host a symposium on ‘ Kalidas- Vimarsh’ on the occasion of Devprabodhani Ekadashi. Scholars of Kalidas’s literature will address during the symposium.

Kalidas literary recital will also be organised. According to director Prof Mithilaprasad Tripathi, ‘ Kalidas Vimarsh’ the symposium will be organised at Abhirang Natyagriha at 3 pm on Wednesday. Sanskrit scholars will be expressing their views on Kalidas’s character and his works. Sanskrit students will recite stanzas of great creation of Kalidas Meghdootam. Prof Tripathi has urged connoisseurs of Sanskrit and Kalidas to grace the occasion.
