A day after the cold- blooded murders of a 45- year- old woman and her 35- year- old driver at their Juhu residence, the police registered a murder and robbery case.

Teksingh and Ramsingh Badila ( both i

n their late 20s) were entrusted with the job of looking after the residence in the absence of other family members.

Police also confirmed that they were unable to open a locker with valuables and fled with everything they could lay their hands on. Police have not ascertained the stolen amount yet.

According to the investigators and neigbours, on Tuesday evening, Kavita Suchak and the driver, Prakash Bagve ( who had been with the family for 16 years) were found murdered in the ground floor flat at Jayjagdish building on N S road no. 5.

There is no watchman in the building. But Kavitas husband Yogesh Suchak, who owns the building, never let any hawkers or sale executives enter the premises.

Ten days ago, Yogesh left for the US and returned only on Wednesday.

According to neighbours, Kavita used to pick up her 9- year- old son from school in her white Santro car driven by Bagve.

During this time, the two servants Ram and Tek were left alone at home. It is learnt from the police that Tek has been living with the family for five to six years and Ram for around three to four years.

Till the time of reporting on Wednesday evening, police were waiting for Yogesh to help them ascertain the stolen amount.
