Indore: The district administration on Friday issued notices to about 90 people allegedly encroached on Industrial Training Institute here and constructed houses.

The encroachers have been asked to vacate the land at the earliest.

Days after police booked two persons for allegedly grabbing about 15 acres of ITI land and selling it meticulously to several people, the administration took cognizance of the case and decided to act sternly against the encroachers.

Administrative Officer Poornima Singi said that the administration issued notices to 90 house- owners asking them to vacate the land. They have been given a fixed time frame to vacate the land. The administration hinted that this is the last notice to the encroachers and now it would act.

The encroachers would be dealt with firmly, if they do not evacuate in given time frame, Singi said.
