Ujjain : Akshar Varta, the International Research Journal conducted an International Symposium on ‘Language, Literature and Changing Social Scenario: Challenges of Globalization’ in association with School of Studies in Hindi, Vikram University, on Monday.

 Literary guest Padma Shree Vijaydutt Shridhar in his address said that the journalism which was a mission before the independence has turned out to be a business today. The form of journalism has been changed today and major importance is given to the paid news. Research scholars from various places presented their findings at the symposium. Vice-chancellor of Maharishi Panini University Prof RC Panda was special guest. He told that Globalization had affected the globalization. The language which is not correct reflects a dysfunctional culture and so as the society.

Former VU VC Dr Ramrajesh Mishra presided over the symposium and told that acceptance and non-acceptance both are dictatorship. Language shows us a middle way. Prof Shailendra Kumar Sharma told that the symposium demonstrating the board of local to global will show us the way to face the challenges of globalization. Dr Premlata Chutail delivered welcome speech. Dr Dharmendra Verma presented the report. Dr Jagdishchandra Sharma conducted the symposium while Dr Mohan Bairagi proposed the vote of thanks.
