Ujjain: Young and cheerful faces with colourful dreams thronged to sprinkle their hues of happiness at Muktakashi Rangmanch Ground of Kalidas Sanskrit Academy to take part in Free Press ‘ On- the- Spot’ Painting Competition here on Sunday. Amidst the pinkish cold, children along with their parents and guardians rushed to the venue to exhibit their talent.
Before the contest began at 9.30 am, entire venue was houseful and several more were about to join the contest. One of the participants Harshita Dhanak of class 3 from Kalidas Montessori School reached at the venue along with her father. She told Free Press that she was excited to participate in the contest. She was informed about the contest by her school and she wanted to paint a house.
Shivangi Devkota, standard student from Model Public School, told that she would paint on the corruption.Parents and teachers inspired her to participate in the contest.Shee enjoyed the competition to the fullest.Naman Lalawat, VI standard student from Christu Jyoti told that he wanted to paint a camel and liked blue colour the most. He wanted to express his imagination through the bright colours. Juhika Lalawat of II standard student from St Mary’s Convent School told that she would paint traffic rules to make public aware about them. She liked red and green colours most and wanted to be an engineer.
Mishika Vaishnav, II standard student from Stanford School came at the along with her father. She told that painting was her hobby and wanted to become a doctor. Her parents wanted her to study to make her dreams come true. She liked fairies most.Chelsea Paul, class V student from St Mary’s Convent School was very enthusiastic to participant in the contest.
She participated in last year’s contest too. Shivani Rami, I standard student from Model Higher Secondary School wanted to paint on environment.Khushi Julka, VI standard student from Takshshila Junior College came with her parents and wanted paint something special in the contest.
Kashish Khan, III standard student from Oxford Junior College approached at the venue of spot painting contest. She wanted to paint her dreams. Tanu Harbhajanka, III standard student from Stanford School told that she wanted to paint on some current social issues emerging now days. She liked painting and wanted to be an artist.
Harshal Khatri, who won the first prize, painted a beautiful drawing based on family.
