Ujjain : Heavy rush was witnessed at the technical institutes of the city on Thursday, where students desiring to take admissions in the colleges were seen running helter-skelter with their documents and certificates.
The occasion was the College Level Counselling (CLC), at the Engineering College, Polytechnic College and other private institutes of the city. Heavy rush prevailed at Polytechnic College where the students from far flung areas had gathered to taken admission in the left over seats in the Diploma courses. For some time the main gates of the college were locked by the authorities to ban the unwanted entry of the admission seekers.
Many students faced problem of incomplete documents and were devoid of the admission. Principal Dr SK Shastri informed that the number of admission seekers had increased because the counselling Rajgarh and Pachore Polytechnic College is also being made here due to some reasons. And the admission seekers of these two colleges have also gathered here. The counselling process continued till late night, to facilitate the parents.
