Ujjain : Health Employees on Sunday handed over a memorandum to School Education Minister Paras Jain warning him to raise a protest in support of their demands. They warned Minister to organise a rally and dharna on April 28 and an indefinite strike from May 11 if their demands are not accepted.
Multi-purpose Health Employees have been working by tying black bands on their armsfor last six days in support of their 12 points demand. They submitted a memorandum to Minister Paras Jain on Sunday demanding action on their plight. The protest was led by district president Ramkumar Solanki. MR Mansoori, Yagnesh Tripathi, Sanjay Sisodia, Mahesh Nagar, Satyaprakash Ahirwar, Lalit Nagar, Kamalkishore America and others informed that the protest is raised in support of 12 points demand. They will take out rally and organise a dharna on April 28. A State convention will be organised in Bhopal on May 4. Employees will go on indefinite strike from May 11.
Their demands include reformation in salary, changing of name to rural health officer from Multipurpose workers, three promotions for MPW/ANM, promotion on the post of BEE for those, who have completed 10 years of service passing MA in Sociology. They also demanded for risk allowance of Rs 1000, rural allowance of Rs 1000 and medical allowance of Rs 1000 for health workers, recruitment on vacancies of MPW ANM and simplification for registration of MPW in paramedical.
