Ujjain : Girl players from Haryana stateoutshone the players from other States during wrestling championship organized at MahanandaSports Arena here on Thursday.

Elimination round and khokhoquarter final matches were played in evening session.

Girls from Haryana gave excellent performance during wrestling and defeated Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh teams.

Publicity committee convener Amitoj Bhargava in formed that teams from Maharashtra and Punjab entered into semifinals in Kho- Kho matches. Teams from Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab and Chhatisgarh defeated Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Daman Deev and Himachal Pradesh during 19 year boys Kho- Kho contest. In Freestyle wrestling of 19 year category, Mamta ( Haryana), Manju ( Haryana) and Puja ( Haryana) won in 48, 59 and 72 kg groups respectively.

Likewise, Gurudev ( Haryana), Manish ( Delhi), Viresh ( Uttar Pradesh) and Ravi ( Delhi) won in 46, 60, 84 and 120 kg groups respectively.

During the evening matches of Kho- Kho and wrestling, School Education Minister Paras Jain, MLA Mohan adav, Jan AbhiyanParishadvice- president Pradeep- Pandey, Municipal Speaker SonuGehlot, SP AnuragKumar and others encouraged players at Mahananda Sports Arena.
