To mark the platinum jubilee of the Reserve Bank of India ( 1935- 2010), the Union Government has launched a coin of Rs 75 denomination Indorean numismatist Suresh Shukla said that on the occasion, coins o

f Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5 and Rs 10 have also launched. These coins have been made at India government Mint, Mumbai. It is to be noted that the weight of circular- shaped coin of Rs 75 is 35 gram and its diameter is 44mm. The coin has been made of 50% silver, 45% copper, 3% nickel and 2% tungsten. The government launched Rs 5 coin having Mother Teresa imprint on it.
