Ujjain :  Miscreants gained entry into a railway engineer’s house by breaking open the front door and made away with 100 grams of gold jewels worth Rs 2 lakh and other silver articles. The incident was reported in a house in Madhav Nagar railway colony on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police, the theft occurred in the house of Uma Shankar Sangule, an engineer at local railway department. Umashankar and his family members had gone to relative’s house for a visit. On Wednesday afternoon, when family returned they learnt of the theft and informed the police. Police have registered case in this regard and searching for thieves.
