Ujjain : Civil Hospital administration has decided to laboratory test the glucose bottles which were used in treating children’s at hospital. A controversy was raised after several children that were admitted in hospital reported of shivering and trepidation after glucose was administered to them. Parents created a ruckus on Sunday after the incident and demanded action against accused and blamed the staff of severe negligence. Civil Surgeon, Dr CD Sharma took the cognizance of the matter, instructing the officials to seize more than 50 leftover bottles. The officials said samples will be taken and sent to laboratory for any defect. Doctors also added that such incidents happen due to speeding of drip and in such case functioning staff is responsible.
